Recent NBA Analysis

Apr. 11 - Alex Caruso (LAL)

Is Alex Caruso for real or not? What's very real is the fact that he played awesome down the stretch and should be at the very least a rotation player in this league from day one next season. While it's sometimes hard to take NBA stats seriously at the end of the year, with a huge influx of G-League talent seeing playing time as proven NBA players rest and sit out the year, it's hard to look past what Caruso did. He simply passes the eye test. Still, it's unlikely Caruso will be a fantasy force next season, even if he did come through big time for fantasy playoff squads this season.Alex Caruso Profile Page

Apr. 11 - Alfonzo McKinnie (GSW)

McKinnie has received consistent playing time in the Warriors rotation this season, and not only due to injuries and rest. He's certainly earned his minutes, and while his contract for next season is non-guaranteed, it's almost inconceivable that the Warriors wouldn't bring him back on such a low salary after he outperformed his paycheck this season as a stabilizing piece off the bench.Alfonzo McKinnie Profile Page

Apr. 11 - Patrick McCaw (TOR)

Delon Wright's trade to Memphis in the Marc Gasol deal certainly opened up playing time for McCaw down the stretch in the Toronto rotation, which has only solidified the idea that McCaw could be at most a solid backup point guard. The 23 year old will likely be in a similar role somewhere next year.Patrick McCaw Profile Page

Apr. 11 - Danuel House (HOU)

House's 3-point shooting kept him in the Rockets' rotation all year, as he finished at 42% from downtown on over 4 attempts per game. He averaged 25 minutes a game when he did play, but it's possible that's merely a result of the Rockets' weak depth, and there's honestly no guarantee that House will receive the same run next season. If he does, he'll be on fantasy radars in the deepest of leagues only.Danuel House Profile Page

Apr. 11 - Walt Lemon (CHI)

With the 2018-2019 NBA season coming to a close, and the Bulls in tank mode, Walter Lemon Jr. was called up from the G-League and really made a case for a roster spot somewhere next season. He averaged nearly 14 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals in 27 minutes of action and looked good doing it, but statistics at the end of the NBA season should be taken with a grain of salt. He shouldn't be on fantasy radars moving into next season, and it's likely he'll be fighting for a roster spot next year.Walt Lemon Profile Page
