Is there still a way to make a team a "bot". I had three teams not draft in my league, is there a way to turn them into "bots" like there was in previous years?

You can turn on auto-picking during the draft, but bots won't pick up, drop, and trade players like they did in the past.

Two new features that could help you:

1) You can delete teams after the draft before the season starts. If your teams have drafted any players, they'll be returned to the free agent pool. Go to the "Users" tab in the commissioner control panel. (Hint: Avoid having an odd number of teams in your league. One team will have to sit out every game.)

2) You can add or remove owners from a team at any time. Consider finding a new owner in these forums to take over your teams. Users can have an unlimited number of teams per account.

How does the auto-picking select a player? Based on fppg? Does it take into account season injuries?

Auto-picking takes a combination of both FPPG and FPPM into account, how much depends on the size of the league. Fantasy points are calculated for your league's custom scoring.

Mostly, last year's stats are used, though there is slight consideration for aberrant preseason performances, news and hype, and a few other secret factors.

Injuries are considered as quickly as they can be tracked. When in doubt, auto-picking will error on the side of NOT picking somebody with an injury. (In short: you won't have to worry about Yao Ming getting taken in any reasonably sized league).

Auto-picking is far from perfect, but can substitute for the real thing in a pinch.

Thanks a lot. Yao was in fact the man we were all worried about :)
