I occasionally scan the newly formed leagues looking for talented team owners to recruit for my league.

I've noticed a lot of people that sign up to the site for the first time, create a league but often fail to join it themselves. Even when they do, they may be the only team owner.

It would be sad to think that most of these new guys might become discouraged and drift away from the site before they've even had their first taste of how much fun this game is.

Is there a way that we could direct all the new members into something like an introductory type league? Set up a league for something like 16 teams then when that fills up, open another.

I'd be glad to volunteer as a commish if this is something that's even possible.

I created the First Timers Invitational - league #161061.

Its an open league for first year players. I've sent out more than 25 invitations.

Kind of late in the process to try this but we'll see how it goes.

Don't join ANY league Jose starts or is in charge of. He runs his leagues like a dictator.

The first league is almost full so I started a 2nd.
