Why is the schedule still unbalanced, such that in our 16 team league (4 divisions of 4), my team plays team 1 in my division 9 times, team 2 5 times and team 3 5 times.

Also the timing of the games is still awkward in that sometimes you play the same team like 4 out of 6 games and then 1 time the rest of the season.

Is there a way we can fix this or at least edit it ourselves per league?

yeah, in my league one team plays much more times away than home.

1) 5,7,7 playoff leagues were displaying 18 games because two games were scheduled to finished on April 14 and the page doesn't displayed more than one game per day. We've moved Game 82's display to April 15 so that it jives now.

2) Schedules were derived from old NBA schedules, where teams played division rivals much more heavily at the beginning and the end of the season. This made playoff races more exciting. If you've got small divisions (< 5 teams), it may be too much.

With the default playoff settings, teams should play at home and away the same amount of times.

We are working on "even" option for leagues that don't want to weight scheduling in favor of divisions and conferences. Right now, we have to do it manually. So, if you'd like this send a message (another if you've already sent one, thanks) via the "Help" option at the top to us and we'll try to set up a more even schedule for you.
