Hey guys, one of my goals for this season was to increase the number of email notifications we can offer. Of course users will always have the option to opt in or out of each notification category in their user profile.

I've added greater detail to the emails that VIP members receive, so keep that in mind. Whereas regular users are alerted that somebody has offered them a trade, VIP members see exactly what that offer entails.

New notifications include...
-Your commissioner reactivated your league.
-Somebody has responded to your trade

Existing notifications include...
-You have bee removed from a league
-Somebody sent you a trade
-Your draft has started
-It's your pick in the draft

What other ideas could we add?

Possibilities...
-A trade has been accepted in your league
-The next fantasy deadline is approaching
-A fantasy game has just finished
-Somebody just dropped/added a player

Bear in mind it might be a little crazy to have ALL enabled at once, but it's nice to think people could have the option.

Any suggestions?

be careful that an increase of emails can be suspicious from the email provider, they can easily be flagged as spam and after those end up to spam folder or other folder less visible

That's a good thing to consider. I wonder what the best way to go about that would be.
