So what is Legends? Basically the league you join will be set in a year from somewhere in the NBA's history (all the way back to 1973-74). You'll be able to draft any player who played that season in real life, and just like any Sports.WS league you'll be able to make trades, trash talk and comment on box scores. Once your draft is done, your league will simulate a game (meaning a game closes and the results are displayed) at 12pm UTC every day or two. When a game is simulated, the site pulls a random stat line from each player from the year the league is set in (e.g. your league's Game 1 could have stats from the real Game 42) which gives your a fantasy team score based on how well all your players performed in that random game. Your league can either be set up as Advanced (where all the stat lines are put back into rotation so you always have a 1/82 chance of getting a stat line pulled, meaning your players can actually play a lot better over your league's season than in real life) or Basic (where once a stat line is used it can't be used again). Finally fantasy points are totaled either by the usual FPPM or the new FPPP (Fantasy Points Per Possession - a way of standardizing game play across eras).
Honestly it's a lot of fun and a great way to fill the fantasy void that we're all feeling!

Legends looks like fun but the player links in the historical statistical pages are broken. selecting Larry bird from the stats page for example opens this link:

Any chance you were looking at that Stats page without being logged in? That was a bug related to the fact that once upon a time, the stats page was a league-specific page and as such it was acting up for users that weren't logged in.
