DWIGHT
HOWARD
Los Angeles • 2021-22
Sep. 28, 2019 - Desperate for a center to share the workload with JaVale McGee after DeMarcus Cousins’ injury, the Lakers turned to former superstar Dwight Howard. While Howard’s stock has fallen dramatically since the last time he arrived in Los Angeles, he’s always been a productive force on the court. There’s language built into Howard’s new contract that give the Lakers flexibility to part ways with the center if they feel he isn’t a good fit but if he does manage to mesh with the roster, he’ll be one of the cheapest sources of double-double production available.
