The two Eastern Conference contenders will meet in the first game of the NBA season tomorrow.

Would you rather take over a franchise with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons on board or the Celtics with all of their current and future stars?

I really dislike the Celtics but that would be the better franchise.

Do you think they're in the better position long-term though? I guess you could argue that there's a lot more organizational stability whereas Philly really just seems to be a Chaos Factor that happens to have employed Sam Hinkie at one point and is still benefiting from it...

I like the Celtics overall depth and assets better than the Sixers. Embiid and Simmons are the two best players on either roster but I think Boston has a superior "team".

Embiid might be the type of player that attracts "ring chasers" to him and that could really change the East. As good as Tatum will be I don't see him as that type player.

I might be talking myself out of the Celtics job..... grass is greener I guess.

To me tatum is a future top 10, like maybe embiid now. He will be far better and way easier to use than simmons, at least ben build a decent shot..

Celtics. To me it's a no-brainer. Easy choice.
