COREY
BREWER

Sacramento • 2019-20
Jan. 27, 2019 - The Sixers brought veteran Corey Brewer aboard to contribute on the perimeter and add depth at a time in the season when injuries tend to pile up. The 32-year-old's length, defense and experience should go a long way toward keeping the young Philadelphia roster on track ahead of the final playoff push. While Brewer is capable of earning the trust of a coaching staff and even pumping out the occasional offensive gem, he's unlikely to offer much fantasy value outside of the deepest of leagues. Asked about Clips blowing 3-1 lead in 2015 to Houston and what he could've done differently, Doc Rivers says, "This has nothing to do with that. That is just negative thinking stuff I never allow myself... I guess we shouldn't have let Corey Brewer and Josh Smith take 3's."

Rockets within 13. Just need Corey Brewer and Josh Smith to knock down some 3s here.

Anyway, that season was intentionally brutal, but we knew the eyes were on the KAT prize and it paid off. Point Corey Brewer (and Point Robbie Hummel), Adreian Payne, and lots of Justin Hamilton, were (small?) prices to pay.

’14-15 tank campaign was blunter, more in your face. Flip was going to try a middle road of vets + young guys. (He had Ricky Rubio, Corey Brewer, Kevin Martin, and Thad Young, along with Wig & LaVine.) When Ricky sprained his ankle, they aborted the mission. No more vets. 16 wins
