NBA player profile for Jrue Holiday with stats and fantasy analysis

JRUE
HOLIDAY

Aug. 23, 2017 - Holiday put forth another solid year for the Pelicans last season and secured himself $104M in guaranteed money as a result. This year, however, the Pels will look to try the career point guard at the two. The franchise clearly thinks highly of Holiday but it's hard to imagine him taking a leap forward considering the addition of Rajon Rondo and NOLA's returning frontcourt. (@AustinKent)

Early word I'm hearing is #Pelicans want to keep Jrue Holiday. Think they remain competitive in the West with youth.

If I was Lonzo Ball, I’d be ecstatic. Get to run with Zion, have a perfect guard partner with Jrue Holiday that can handle half-court playmaking while he gets to be the transition PG. Defensively, Pellies have a potentially elite core with Zion, Jrue and Lonzo. Love it

Jrue Holiday makes less sense on the Pelicans than he did 5 minutes ago. He’s the first runner up to Beal in the “Salvage KAT’s Wolves Career” contest.

Great trade for the Pelicans. Not saying they won the trade, you never win a trade when trading away Anthony Davis, but I still love the number of picks they got in addition to Lonzo, Hart and Ingram. If I’m David Griffin I’m shopping Jrue Holiday and completely rebuilding.

@stevekylerNBA any idea if the Pelicans would have any interest in flipping Ball since they still have Jrue Holiday? Or was he a target of theirs all along? (I am a very upset #Suns fan wishing PHX had found a way to snag him).
