KEVIN
DURANT

Oklahoma City Thunder • 2014-15
Sep. 28, 2019 - A torn Achilles will sideline Kevin Durant for the 2019-20 season, meaning hoops fans won’t see him suit up again until he’s 32 years old. While Durant’s incredibly smooth stroke and unstoppable length won’t be impacted as much by age as other skills, simple math suggests that we may have seen the last of Prime KD. That said, don’t rule out the former MVP from returning for the Brooklyn Nets next season and returning to All-Star form. Ignore him in re-draft leagues. (@AustinKent)

Klay Thompson is the fourth 2017-18 All-Star to suffer a ruptured Achilles, joining DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall and Kevin Durant. I'm not sure what to make of that, but I can't imagine a spate of Achilles tears to stars like this has ever happened.
