NBA player profile for Malik Beasley with stats and fantasy analysis

MALIK
BEASLEY

Jan. 29, 2019 - The Denver Nuggets have no shortage of depth and Malik Beasley is partly to thank for that. The 22-year-old has done an adequate job stepping up in the absence of teammates Gary Harris and Jamal Murray and shown that he can be relied upon to play a heavy workload. Beasley may not continue to play north of 30 minutes per game as he did in early January but he's a valuable young piece that warrants fantasy attention in deep keeper leagues, even if you're simply monitoring his usage when his teammates get back to full strength. Promised more on Malik Beasley and his hot start... a couple of non-statistical items. First, his left hand is MUCH better. He has showed a consistent ability to dribble drive with purpose going to his left and score. It's a big deal.

Malik Beasley was really, really good. And has been since training camp in Colorado Springs. I'll do a more detailed break down of him tomorrow after some film study. He had 16 points and 6 rebounds in 18 minutes, making 6 of 8 shots from the field.

Malik Beasley has been fantastic here tonight. The shooting is there. The energy is there. Cutting, rebounding, defense. He's dialed in and it shows. He's got 16 points in 16 minutes so far on 6/7 shooting. Plus 6 rebounds. #Nuggets
