PASCAL
SIAKAM

Toronto • 2019-20
Feb. 14, 2019 - To say that Pascal Siakam is vastly improved in his third NBA season would be an understatement. The 24-year-old offesason workout warrior has lived up to the rumblings that he was ready to take his game to a new level. Now Siakam looks not only like a solid rotation piece but a plus-starter and borderline All-Star. Siakam is probably worth owning in all fantasy formats but holds special intrigue in dynasty league with the prospect of Kawhi Leonard leaving Toronto a distinct possibility. (@AustinKent)

There has been some excitement about @coachthorpe's projecting the Raptors to be a top team in the East. One reason: he thought Pascal Siakam would be super motivated after a poor performance in the bubble. Evidence he was right: t.co @jshector t.co

Interesting, Finch notes Brandon Ingram's improvement under Pelicans staff and Ingram being most improved player. Of course Pascal Siakam won it the previous year. Thinks maybe they can add some of the Ingram stuff to Siakam's game. Excited to work with Siakam.

Finch thinks Raptors can get better at cutting, creating more space (in the half-court, where they struggled, especially in playoffs). Create more unpredictability and misdirection. Should help out Pascal Siakam when teams load up on him. Good question by @ekoreen

To sum up Pascal Siakam's first media availability of the season: "For me that was the main focus (of the off-season). Just getting right. I mean, I'm in a good place right now. I feel happy, excited about the future and I just feel like I have that joy again."
