RUDY
GAY

Utah • 2021-22
Aug. 16, 2016 - If you need somebody to fill minutes with modest production, Gay is your guy. Unfortunately, the forward has been asked to be something he isn't for the majority of his career. It's easy to be disappointed with where things have gone for the 29-year-old former Grizzly and Raptor up to this point, but they're not exactly his fault. Let Gay fill in the lower end of your rotation if minutes are scarce in a deep league, but avoid him in shallow leagues where his pedestrian efficiency rates aren't worth the roster spot. (AK)

Rudy Gay, with some perspective on the Jazz's recent woes: "We've been through a lot this last month. We're still going through a lot. Everybody's been out for a little bit. But we've been competitive almost every single night."

Quin said he’d love to get Eric Paschall some more minutes, and noted he deserves to play, but said he felt like they need to have a traditional rolling big as much as possible (hence the Dok minutes vs. Houston), and wants to get Rudy Gay settled at the 4, so it’s hard.
