SHABAZZ
MUHAMMAD

Minnesota Timberwolves • 2014-15
Nov. 20, 2015 - Shabazz exploded last season and was proving to be a valuable fantasy commodity until he was injured and missed the remainder of the season. Unfortunately, with the emergence of Wiggins and Lavine, and the entrance of Karl-Anthony Towns, Muhammad simply won't have the opportunity to do what he did last year. He's not in a funk - he's in a different situation. You can leave him on the waiver wire. (DH)

Punch-Drunk Wolves
Well, not always. Corey Brewer and Shabazz Muhammad couldn’t dial it back. But usually the motor can cool down more easily than it can heat up. You get the idea.

Per Elias: Last time the team had multiple players with 20+ points off the bench was 1/12/16 vs. OKC: Zach LaVine (21) and Shabazz Muhammad (20). McDaniels and Nowell mark the 13th such time overall in Wolves history.

Big theme of the G League draft-- teams passing on the NBA vets. Michael Beasley, Lance Stephenson, Shabazz Muhammad, Mario Chalmers, all went undrafted. Makes sense for teams to build around younger players, especially if they plan on assigning their own guys (2-ways, etc)

talking more a widespread rage scenario — a huge percentage of Wolves fans were raging over Love-Mayo (incorrectly; *raises hand*) and Wes over DMC. Pretty large contingent hated the Shabazz Muhammad situation. I’ve personally channeled more anger at blowing 2nd round HR swings.. t.co
