As @em_adler alluded to yesterday, now that Kalani Brown has been waived, every Derek Fisher first-round pick is now out of the league. Other than Zia Cooke from last month’s draft, the most recent Sparks first-round pick in the WNBA is Nneka Ogwumike (2012).

I've seen this take multiple times over the past week about how the LA Sparks didn't do more with Candace Parker, Chelsea Gray, and Nneka Ogwumike all on the same team. They literally went to back-to-back #WNBAFinals and won one of them! No team has been able to repeat in 20 yrs.
