Julius Randle was one of four players in the NBA to average 20+ points, 10+ rebounds and 4+ assists per game in 2022-23. The other three were Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo - who finished first, second and third, respectively, in this year's MVP voting.

Long term or short term. Victor Wembanyama's production & impact won't be much different than Kristaps Porzingis. Hyped up by talking heads to be a generational player. Not how the NBA works.

Ian Begley on Kristaps Porzingis
Mavericks get the No. 10 pick in 2023 draft, so they don’t have to send it to NYK. NYK would’ve gotten the pick if it fell outside top 10. They are owed a pick from the Kristaps Porzingis trade. Since the pick didn’t convey this year, DAL now owes NYK a top-10 protected 2024 pick

Tim Bontemps on Derrick Rose
A reminder: when the Bulls won the lottery to get Derrick Rose in 2008, they had a 1.7% chance to win. With the flatter odds, there's a real chance of one of those bottom teams – including the Mavs, which if a team jumps them will lose their pick to the Knicks – getting lucky. t.co
