NBA player profile for Jimmy Butler with stats and fantasy analysis

JIMMY
BUTLER

Nov. 10, 2018 - Butler has been traded to Philadelphia, where he can have a major impact from a fantasy perspective. Odds are he won’t be sitting out in Philly as the team intends to be a championship contender this season. Simmons and Embiid are both willing passers and Butler is a much better scorer than Simmons is, meaning fantasy owners must be happy with his final destination this season. One more positive: the Sixers won’t have the greatest depth after the deal, so Butler will likely get a ton of minutes on a consistent basis.

The Knicks’ grand plan was to tank 2018-19, draft Zion, and sign or trade for two superstars this summer. Now? They get the third pick in a two player draft and have missed or could easily miss on AD, KD, Kyrie, Kawhi, Klay, Kemba, and Jimmy Butler.
