MARCUS
SMART

Boston • 2020-21
Sep. 1, 2016 - Smart hasn't made quite the impact people thought he would with the Boston Celtics, but he's established himself as a scrappy player worthy of a spot in Brad Stevens' rotation. On paper the third-year guard's efficiency numbers are only okay, but further improvement can be expected in 2016-17. This team belongs to fellow point guard Isaiah Thomas, but they'll find a way to keep 22-year-old Smart in the mix. (AK)

Celtics comfortable w/Marcus Smart as starter. Underrated distributor. As for some questionable shots vs everything else he brings, it's like the old story: "Our father's crazy. He thinks he's a chicken." "Have you taken him to a psychiatrist?" "Hell no... We need the eggs."
